The Associated Equipment Distributors have elected Walter Berry of Berry Companies 2005 chairman of the organization. Berry Companies, headquartered in Wichita, Kansas, has 21 locations in five states and represents Bobcat, Bomag, Komatsu, Link-Belt, Volvo and Yale. Other AED officers for 2005 include:
· vice chairman — Dale Leppo, president of LeppoRents/Bobcat of Akron, Tallmadge, Ohio;
· senior vice president – Les Bebchick, president of Equipment & Systems for Industry Inc., Hopkinton, Mass.
· vice president – Dennis Romanson, president and chief executive of Briggs Equipment, Tampa, Fla.;
· vice president/Canada – Ken Nordstrom, regional sales manager for Finning, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; and
· vice president of finance — James Price, executive vice president of Valley Supply and Equipment, Funkstown, Md.
