Dana announced Nov. 9 it has completed a $6 million expansion of its heavy vehicle research and development center in Kalamazoo, Mich. The expansion added 15,000 square feet of research, development and testing space to the previously 155,000-square-foot facility. The company has also purchased new test equipment. A new 1,000-square-foot strong floor bedplate strengthens Dana’s structural testing capabilities. The heavy vehicle center houses the headquarters and R&D center for Dana’s North America commercial vehicle systems group.
