A joint venture between Terex and Britain-based Vectra launched an operation last week to manufacture and sell construction equipment in India. Terex Vectra Equipment has built a manufacturing facility near New Delhi. Ron DeFeo, chairman and president of Terex, said the Indian venture has huge potential because the country is making significant investments in its roads, highways and other infrastructure.
