Case Construction Equipment previewed its new M Series range of dozers today at the massive Bauma construction equipment trade show, taking place April 15-20 in Munich, Germany.
The three models in the line up—134-horsepower 1150M, 162 horsepower 1650M, and 226 horsepower 2050M—will have operating weights from 13 to 20 metric tons and use SCR to meet Tier 4 Interim emissions regulations. They are expected to appear in North America later this year.
Case says the dozers offer 10 percent fuel savings and a 19 percent increase in “productive efficiency,” compared with its previous dozer generation.
A V-shaped cooling package on the 1650M and 2050M models incorporates a hydraulic reversible fan, reducing draw on engine power, as well as radiator cleaning intervals.
A revised hydrostatic transmission layout let users select between soft, medium and aggressive steering and reversing modes. Up to 15 speed settings can be set on the steering electro-hydraulic joystick control, which can be easily integrated with common machine guidance systems.
