Trico, a rental company serving New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Texas, specializes in aerial lift equipment. Trico’s senior leadership is expected to stay with BlueLine in management roles once the acquisition is completed.
“Trico is a very complementary business for BlueLine that will strengthen our aerial fleet mix and capabilities, provide access to a valuable new customer base in key regions, and position us well for future growth,” BlueLine Rental CEO Phil Hobson said in a prepared statement.
This is BlueLine’s second acquisition. In September, BlueLine acquired JustRuss Rental, giving the company three locations in Alabama.
BlueLine is the former Volvo Rents. The company changed its name after being bought in January 2014 by Platinum Equity.
