JCB has earned membership in OSHA’s Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program, which the agency created to provide incentives and support to employers that implement and continuously improve effective safety and health management systems at their worksites. Upon receiving SHARP recognition, worksites are exempt from OSHA programmed inspections for one year.
“When you have been in business for 60 years, you learn that the safety and health of your facilities and your workforce is of the utmost importance,” said Helmut Peters, president of JCB. “That is why the OSHA SHARP recognition is such a great honor, because it validates the system we have put in place and reinforces our commitment to constantly improving our safety and health programs.”
