World of Concrete 2004 will be held in Orlando Feb. 17-20. More than 1,500 exhibitors are expected at the event.
An extensive seminar program will be offered, with 96 sessions including 26 new seminars. Session topics include decorative concrete, business management, rental, residential and the basics and repair of concrete. Participants who attend four seminars in a specialized subject area are eligible to receive a master certificate. The seminars will begin on Feb. 16.
Designed to help participants understand the changes that impact their industry, Industry Insights –free-admission information sessions about current trends and techniques — will also be offered. Show management decided to bring back the free sessions after they were successfully introduced in 2003. Topics will include above-grade concrete housing and global positioning systems.
