NES Rentals exec wins Construction Industries of Massachusetts Award

Robert Toomey, vice president of NES Rentals’ traffic safety division, has earned the Construction Industries of Massachusetts Award, which CIM instituted to honor members for their professionalism, integrity and contributions made to the construction industry throughout their careers. Toomey is the sixth person in CIM’s 83-year history to receive the award. Prior to joining NES Rentals, Toomey was co-owner of L&C Flashing Barricades in Avon, Mass. NES Rentals acquired the $15 million business in September 1999. Toomey has served on CIM’s board of directors since 1981. He has also been the organization’s board vice chairman, board chairman and treasurer.
