Volvo has named Susan Alt president and chief executive of Volvo Logistics North America and Goran Lindgren vice president, customer support, for Volvo Construction Equipment North America.
Alt, whose appointment was effective immediately, formerly worked as vice president, marketing, for Volvo Trucks North America. She succeeds Ake Niklasson, who left Volvo Logistics North America earlier this year to lead its global operations. Alt has worked for Volvo Truck Corporation for 15 years, both in the United States and Sweden.
Lindgren’s appointment is effective Jan. 5. He has had global responsibility for Volvo CE parts and service support since 1999, when he became a member of the Volvo CE customer support business area team. He will continue serving on that team in his new position.
