Terex has named Steve Filipov president of Terex Cranes, effective Jan. 1, and increased the responsibilities of Chris Ragot, president of Terex Utilities, effective immediately.
Filipov worked most recently as group president of Terex Cranes International. In his new position, he will oversee worldwide operations of the Terex Cranes business. In related moves, the company appointed Dani Goldsmith president of North American Crane Operations and named Alexander Knecht president of Terex Cranes International. Goldsmith has been working as chief financial officer for the crane group worldwide and Knecht was managing director of Demag.
Terex has given Ragot additional responsibility for the Terex Roadbuilding and Terex Advance Mixer businesses.
