Custom Equipment names Pedraza manager of South-Central U.S. territory

Jesus Pedraza

Jesus Pedraza is the new South-Central U.S. territory manager for Custom Equipment. He’s continuing the growth and channel development of Hy-Brid Lifts, Custom Equipment’s line of lightweight low-level scissor lifts, the company says.

With a growing construction industry, we needed someone who can continue to give our current customers and prospects in that region the attention and support they need to be successful,” says Dan Schneider, Custom Equipment vice president of sales.

Based in Richfield, Wisconsin, Custom Equipment markets globally to provide material handling equipment rental services. It has a range of scissors lifts and parts for plumbers, painters, drywallers and ceiling tile installers.

Pedraza has more than 13 years of experience in both inside and outside sales at Ahern Rentals in Texas, where he used his networking and negotiating skills to average $3 million per year in revenue.

He’s also a knowledgeable truck driver, having driven for both Ahern and Jack in the Box Distribution. Pedraza’s familiarity with the South-Central U.S. helps him navigate the dealer and rental center landscape in that area, the company notes.

“I look forward to establishing relationships and introducing our lifts to the South-Central region,” Pedraza says. “I have no doubt that both our equipment and customer service will have a great impact on the area.”
