Case Construction Equipment announced today that its North American dealers will begin carrying off-machine construction tools from Leica Geosystems.

The move comes through the expansion of a partnership between the two companies established in 2014. With that agreement Case was allowed to integrate Leica machine control technology into its machines from the factory as well as sell aftermarket options through dealers.

Now, Case dealers can also sell Leica’s off-machine tools including pipe lasers, rotating lasers, underground utility locators and automatic/electronic levels, according to the Case announcement.

However, Case dealers will need to undergo three levels of certification in order to begin selling the additional Leica tools in order to ensure informed customer service and consultation.

“Having all solutions in one location–equipment and both on- and off-machine configurations–provides excellent value to equipment buyers by allowing them to finance and service a total solution through a single provider,” says Scott Harris, vice president – North America, CASE. “This makes it easier and more cost effective for businesses to grow their fleet and leverage these technologies, and ensures that the dealer is staffed with trained professionals who can help customers realize the total benefits of the system.”
