Chicago snow plow driver shot at while clearing city streets

snowplowinheavysnow - Better RoadsFor the second time in less than a month, a snow plow driver was shot at while clearing streets.

ABC 7 in Chicago reported that a Chicago Streets and Sanitation Department snow plow driver was driving through the West Side on Sunday afternoon when another driver in a dark SUV opened fire.

The snow plow driver told police that the SUV driver was upset because the plow was not moving fast enough through the West Garfield Neighborhood. Some kind of altercation followed and the plow driver said he heard a gunshot before the dark SUV sped away.

No one was hurt in the incident. Chicago Police are investigating.

This followed an incident in late January when a Massachusetts snow plow driver found himself in danger after an angry and drunk driver fired three shots at the plow. No one was hurt in the incident.
