The latest and most powerful articulated crawler crane from Italian manufacturer Jekko, the JF1050, has hit the U.S. market, offering a 24.3-ton lifting capacity and 113.2-foot max tip height.
The knuckle boom crawler crane comes with an X-Design decagonal boom from Fassi, with three articulation points and improved load charts, particularly in vertical configurations, the company says. The system distributes stress throughout the boom structure for heavier lifting with lower machine weight.
The JF1050, now the fourth articulated crawler crane Jekko offers in the U.S., weighs 61,000 pounds and has a max radius of 103.7 feet.

Ideal applications for the JF1050 include industrial maintenance, data center construction and warehouse operations. Possible configurations Jekko lists for the JF1050 are hook or winch lifting, hydraulic jib, operation with independent hydraulic tools and working at height with a man basket.
The JF1050 also comes equipped with Jekko’s Bi-Energy Diesel Electric Powerpack system, allowing operators to switch between a low-emission 73.6-horsepower Deutz diesel engine and integrated electric motor. The system gives operators both full outdoor autonomy capabilities and clean indoor operation.
Powered byNew Variable Speed Engine Management improves engine control, movement control and fuel use. The JF1050 offers three selectable working modes — Eco, Normal and Power — for different output and fuel consumption configurations.
A new 7-inch IP66 waterproof touchscreen display collects all the JF1050’s data, shows ream-time stability and engine operative info, and contains an onboard assistant.
The JF1050’s counterweight can be removed to lower overall weight for lower ground pressure and easier transport.
