The latest lattice boom crawler crane from Sany – the 330-ton maximum lift SCA3300A – expands its U.S. crawler crane lineup to five models and caters specifically to the infrastructure, industrial, and data center markets.

Now its second-largest lattice boom crawler crane by maximum lift, Sany's SCA3300A features a 540-foot maximum tip height, a main boom that extends up to 301.8 feet, and, according to Sany, one of the longest luffing jib configurations in its class.

Operators will have a total counterweight of 414,500 pounds and are able to set up the SCA3300A with a self-assembly wireless remote. A 400-horsepower Cummins Tier 4 Final engine delivering 1,600 foot-pounds of torque powers the SCA3300A, and an optional auxiliary power unit and auxiliary heater can reduce fuel consumption.

In the 25-degree tilting cab, the SCA3300A’s load moment indicator uses two 13.6-inch, color touchscreen monitors to provides real-time ground bearing pressure, wind speed, radius, boom length, and boom angle to operators. The crane’s 360-degree surround view camera system comes standard with blind spot monitoring and automatic alarms to warn of approaching workers on the ground.

Operators will also benefit from the electrochromic glass with variable tint control for improved visibility in different lighting conditions, as well as air-suspended heated and cooled seat with weight adjustment system.

Other standard features on the SCA3300A include:

  • Full boom walkways
  • Independently operating main and auxiliary hoists with optional free fall
  • Single action hydraulic connection technology for assembly
