The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association has elected Elizabeth Twohy, president of Capital Concrete in Norfolk, Virginia, as its new chairman of the board of directors. Twohy is the first female to hold the position in the association’s 75-year history.
She previously served on the NRMCA board and executive committee, and has also worked with NRMCA’s government affairs, Construction Industry Alliance, vision strategic planning and operations and several environmental and safety committees.
