The Association of Equipment Manufacturers has added safety manuals for vacuum excavators and scrap and material handlers to its lineup of more than 50 handbooks and videos for construction, agricultural, forestry and utility machines.
The scrap and material handler manual contains basic safety dos and don’ts for typical work situations. It covers general precautions, start-up and shut-down guidelines and procedures for safe machine operation and maintenance.
The vacuum excavator manual is also published in an illustrated format of dos and don’ts. Equipment manufacturers working through AEM’s vacuum excavation equipment committee researched and developed the manual.
