Toyota has put tracks on its 2026 pickup trucks and SUVs to show off at this year’s SEMA Show.

The concept Tacoma, Tundra, 4Runner, Land Cruiser and Sequoia are equipped for “winter exploration” and going “beyond plowed roads,” the company says.

The “Snowhunter” concepts were imagined by CALTY Design Research, Toyota’s design studio in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

The vehicles’ main feature are their white powder-coated tracks for deep-snow travel. They also get custom Snowhunter camouflage and badging, gloss-black accents, Rigid lighting and Toyota lift components.

“Together, the five builds reflect a unified vision of what Toyota capability can look like when snow becomes part of the route instead of a reason to turn back,” the company says.

Here’s a look at each of the concepts:

Tundra Snowhunter Concept

Toyota imagines the Tundra pickup Snowhunter as serving as a “mobile base camp.”

One of its standout features is a concept rack system that turns the bed into a gear-storage platform. An articulated top rack lowers for easier loading of and access to heavy gear. The bed is designed to handle configurable storage for the smaller gear.

Other features include TRD rear billet control arms, Predator Step and added lighting.

Tacoma Snowhunter Concept

The Tacoma Snowhunter concept pickup gets a “a nimbler and trail-focused” design compared to the Tundra for traversing tight winter trails, according to Toyota.

Its features include a roof rack and a full-length bed rack with MOLLE panels, awning, cargo storage, recovery equipment and bed lighting.

SUV Snowhunter Concepts

Toyota’s large SUVs also undergo the Snowhunter treatment for display at SEMA. Along with tracks, the concept models get the following additions:

  • 4Runner Snowhunter Concept — features include Toyota Genuine rock rails, a Prinsu roof rack with accessory panels and a Thule Pulse 2 cargo box.
  • Land Cruiser Snowhunter Concept — features include Toyota Genuine rock rails and skid plates, a Prinsu roof rack with accessory panels and a Thule SnowPack ski rack.
  • Sequoia Snowhunter Concept — features include a TRD front skid plate, Toyota Genuine cast aluminum running boards, a Prinsu roof rack with accessory panels, and a Thule Pulse 2 cargo box.

Those who want to see the concept Snowhunters in person can do so at the SEMA Show 2026 to be held November 3-6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
