The 2027 Nissan Frontier is set to hit dealers this summer with a starting MSRP of $32,490, about $350 above the 2026 model’s base price.
The new midsize pickup truck will come in four grades: S, SV, Pro-X and Pro-4X.
A Sports Edition for the SV grade is being introduced for the model year.
For an additional $990, the Sports package includes off-road-style 17-inch wheels with Hankook Dynapro all-terrain tires, an aluminum skid plate, LED fog lights and front accent lighting. On the exterior is a black lower front fascia, grille and mirrors and a "Sport" bedside and tailgate badge with yellow accents. The interior gets black upholstery with yellow accent stitching.
"The Frontier Sport Edition delivers a more athletic appearance that answers our customers' calls for a stylish, distinctive truck backed by capability that supports their active, outdoor lifestyles," says Marco Fioravanti, vice president, product planning, Nissan U.S. and Canada.
More Packages, Wireless Charging
Other available packages:
- Dark Armor — available for SV grade. Nissan says this package gives the truck “a sleeker, subtle appearance with a gloss black grille, exterior badges, mirrors, interior trim accents and headliner, plus Dark Armor-specific gloss black alloy 17-inch wheels.”
- The PRO-4X R package — gets Hankook Dynapro AT2 Xtreme all-terrain tires on 17-inch off-road wheels, a leather-wrapped shift knob and titanium-finished accents for the grille inserts and skid plate.
For the 2027 model, Nissan upgraded the wireless phone charger for the Pro Convenience package to the Qi2 standard, using magnets to keep the phone in position and adding an integrated fan to cool the device. Nissan says the update provides faster, more consistent charging.

The off-road-focused Pro-X 4x2 and Pro-4X get Bilstein suspension components, black 17-inch wheels with Lava Red lettering and all-terrain tires. The Pro-4X gets an electric locking rear differential and an Off-Road Mode that can be used while driving up to 12 mph.
The Pro-X and Pro-4X grades also get over-fenders, Lava Red tow hooks, black exterior trim pieces and Lava Red interior accents and are available with an Intelligent Around View Monitor.
Trailer Sway Control is standard on SV and PRO grades.
