Watch as CNN correspondent Drew Griffin goes to work Wednesday helping to save the life of a man who accidentally drove his pickup into a drainage ditch while leaving a parking lot in Beaumont, Texas.
Griffin had just started a live broadcast when the man attempted to exit a parking lot by driving down a sloped grade that he thought was an exit to the street. As it turns out, he had driven down a concrete drainage easement straight into an overflowing stormwater ditch. The man, who was from Winnie, Texas, thanked Griffin and his cameraman for saving his life.
