Express Blower introduces high-capacity TM-70

Express Blower introduced the new high-capacity TM-70 pneumatic blower for spreading a variety of materials with more efficiency.

The TM-70 is a fully self-contained, steel-framed aluminum box with a 275-horsepower turbo-diesel, Tier 3 Caterpillar C-7 engine that also works with a variety of tractor configurations.

The TM-70MD package includes a 300-horsepower Caterpillar C-7 engine and the TM-70 HD package includes a 335-horsepower Caterpillar C-9 engine. Both packages offer heavy-duty hydraulic systems and a powerful pneumatic blower.

The TM-70 uses a self-diagnosing system to monitor low oil pressure and automatic shut-off when experiencing excessive temperatures. The computer control package automatically adjusts the feed system based on material and operating conditions, eliminating complex settings.

The material feed system features a solid belt floor and electronically controlled auger system with large motors to minimize stress on the hydraulic system while improving output, eliminating waste and reducing clean-up time.

The TM-70 offers an optional Supplemental Injection System that uses Terraseeding technology for more uniform seeding. By injecting seeds in the material as it is blown into place, Terraseeding optimizes seed usage and reduces both over- and under-seeding.

The TM-70 features a load capacity of approximately 70 cubic yards and manages material blowing jobs with both 4- and 5-inch hoses. The blower has a 390-foot hose assembly and can blow material up to 800 feet.

A remote radio control allows one or two man operation of the entire blower, allowing operators to adjust material flow as necessary while holding the hose. Remote diagnostics provide a fast assessment of machine performance, and the control package eliminated the need for many looms, wire strips and junction boxes.
