Topcon introduces new GRS-1 rover software

Topcon Positioning Systems’ (TPS) new GRS-1 handheld RTK GNSS receiver now supports Pocket 3D version 9.0 software. The new software is a Windows Mobile 6.1 release is part of a GPS network solution.

Pocket 3D version 9.0 uses a grade indicator when performing surface checks or staking out alignments. The new software allows users to choose a tri-color grade indicator and provides a new project file storage system that puts all design files in one project file.

The GRS-1 RTK rover is a dual frequency GPS + GLONASS receiver and includes an integrated cell phone, a colorful touch screen display and up to 1 centimeter RTK accuracy. The GRS-1 handheld has an on-board GSM or CDMA modem, where the Pocket 3D connects directly through an NTRIP server.
