DataDotDNA technology laser-etches unique microscopic information such as vehicle identification numbers, computer-generated PINs, names, serial numbers or manufacturing information onto polymer substrate discs the size of a grain of sand.
The millimeter-sized mini-discs are then applied to an object by the thousands using a permanent adhesive that is visible under ultraviolet light. Because of their size and number, DataDots are difficult to remove in their entirety.
