NRMCA releases fly ash performance study

The RMC Research and Education Foundation has released a report on the use of fly ash in concrete production. The report, “New Technology-Based Approach to Advance Higher Volume Fly Ash Concrete with Acceptable Performance,” indicates recycled material such as fly ash can be used when producing a high quality product.
The study was conducted at the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association’s Research Laboratory and received additional funding from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) through its Combustion Byproducts Recycling Consortium.
