Kenworth completes expansion project at Chillcothe Plant

Kenworth’s production capacity has increased 50 percent with the completion of their expansion project at their Chillicothe Plant in Ohio. The expansion project added 105,000 square feet to the facility that was already Kenworth’s largest plant and responsible for producing over 300,000 trucks since opening in 1974.

The expansion of Kenworth’s Chillicothe Plant has introduced new manufacturing technologies and processes, extended the mainline, added new cab, sleeper and trim lines; enhanced ergonomics; and included improvements in plant logistics.
