The North American Surface Water Quality Conference and Exposition, StormCon, will be held August 20-23, 2007, in Phoenix, Arizona, at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge. Several new tracks will be featured for the 2007 conference with a focus on construction site storm water practices, sediment and erosion control and storm water permit compliance.
So far, the six conference tracks for StormCon 2007 are construction site BMPs; LID, smart growth and green infrastructure; storm water program management; best management practices; research and testing of BMPs; and comprehensive water-quality management.
Those with experience in developing Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), training onsite personnel in storm water management techniques, or implementing sediment and erosion control practices are encouraged to send an abstract for consideration by Wednesday, December 6, 2006.
