Used in hydronic ground thawing and concrete curing applications, Ground Heaters’ new Red Wave insulation blankets are constructed of a thin, polymer/aluminum laminate to better reflect heat downward as well as conduct heat laterally between blankets. This results in a more even heat distribution, faster thaws and more uniform concrete cures. The high-tech polymer weighs 40 percent less than other insulating blankets – 55 pounds for a 6-foot-by-125-foot blanket – making it easier for one person to set up.
