Red Bull goes green with new International DuraStar hybrid delivery trucks

Energy drink manufacturer Red Bull has made an energy-saving move to reduce 30 to 40 percent in fuel costs by adding four International DuraStar hybrid trucks to their southern Nevada distribution center fleet in Las Vegas. In addition to saving on fuel costs and reducing emissions, the company is setting a good example for others to follow.

“We’re proud that Red Bull recognizes the importance of green transportation for the environment,” says Jim Williams, director, sales and distribution, new products, Navistar. “We need more companies like this to take a stance and add hybrid vehicles to their fleets.”
