AGC set to hold midyear meeting in San Francisco

The Associated General Contractors of America is holding its midyear meeting on September 28-30 in San Francisco. The meeting will focus on issues such as the impact of California’s engine emissions mandate, the economic situation for the remainder of the year and a preview of 2007, as well as California’s levee systems. Speakers for the meeting include AGC’s chief economist, Ken Simonson, Laborers’ general president, Terry O’Sullivan and representatives from the U.S. Army Corps of engineers.

In addition, AGC will release its inaugural guide to building information modeling.
