Leading Compact Track Loader Brands by Market Share
Kubota continued its reign as the leading compact track loader manufacturer, with 27.1% of all new financed units sold, or 15,197 total machines.
Caterpillar remains a formidable rival, increasing its sales by 18.8% year over year, driven by robust demand for its recently released 255 and 265 models.
Meanwhile, third-place Bobcat and fourth-place Deere saw its CTL sales decline slightly during the period, while fifth-place Takeuchi’s sales remained relatively flat.

Texas dominated the U.S. in total volume of new financed CTL sales with 13.3% of all units sold or 7,478 machines. Buyers were also prevalent in Florida, with 3,563 units, and Georgia, with 2,863 units.

Compact track loaders were also the top category of used financed machines sold with nearly 21,000 units moved from May 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026, an 8.7% increase over the same period last year.
Bobcat narrowly claimed the top spot, with less than 250 units separating it from second-place Cat. Deere and Kubota trailed further behind in the third and fourth positions, with Takeuchi hanging onto the fifth-place spot.

Used compact track loader prices continued to decline from April 2025 to March 2026, according to Fusable’s latest EquipmentWatch market trend data.
The average price for a used CTL peaked at $61,090 in the third quarter of 2023. Prices have been on a downward trend since, falling to $55,380 during the first quarter of 2026. The average age of used CTLs also increased slightly from 4.7 years to 5.2 years. The average age and price were calculated on 609,478 resale listings during the period in the EquipmentWatch database.
