Combination unit provides power and light
Power jobsite trailers, tools, heaters and more with Doosan Infracore Portable Power’s Ingersoll Rand L20, a combination light tower and mobile generator with a 32-horsepower Mitsubishi diesel engine and 20-kilowatt generator. Four 1,000-watt metal halide lamps mounted to a telescoping mast have 360-degree rotation and extend from 12 to 30 feet. The generator delivers up to 63 amps at 240 volts and 126 amps at 120 volts. When the lighting system is not used, the generator provides 80 amps at 240 volts and 160 amps at 120 volts.
Portable generator features low noise design
Produce 6,500 watts of 120/240V AC power for remote jobsites with Honda’s EU6500is portable generator, which features separate triple chamber construction, a centralized intake/exhaust system and Eco Throttle design for a rated load noise level of 5 decibels, the level of normal conversation. The EU6500 has a high efficiency inverter that contributes to low fuel consumption, and an iMonitor system that displays operation status, wattage and engine speeds for problem-free maintenance.
Compact gen set offers improved output
Power a variety of equipment and tools with Next Generation’s ultra-compact industrial 5.5-kilowatt gen set, which weighs just 240 pounds. A water cooled, two-cylinder Kubota engine powers the gen set, which features mountable and remote radiator options, a three vortex combustion system for improved energy output and 2,800-rpm operating speed for minimal noise, vibration and wear.
Portable light tower mounts in two hours
Baldor has introduced a light tower kit for their towable generators designed for applications such as construction jobsites and road repair. The kit features a 30-foot telescoping light tower. Available on Baldor’s TS35T towable generator, the kit takes just two hours to mount using specially designed brackets and a ballast box that eliminates drilling.
Eliminate need for multiple units with Simul-Phase Technology
Use 120- and 240-volt power while supplying three phase 240/480-volt power with Shindaiwa’s Simul-Phase Generator Technology, available on the company’s model DGK25C 20-kilowatt mobile generator. The generator also includes Shindaiwa Ultra Quiet sound attenuation technology, which provides decibel ratings of 53 at no load and 56 at full load.
Choose from complete light tower or adaptable unit
Reduce glare with Airstar’s Sirocco 3K HTI light, designed to replace traditional flood lights on light towers. The 3K HTI tower illuminates 80,000 square feet with 330,000 lumens and is adaptable to your existing tower or available as a complete unit.
Vertical configuration makes storage and towing easy
Enable easier light tower setup with Allmand Bros.’ V Series vertical light tower configuration, which has a mast that retracts and telescopes in and out of its own housing, resulting in easier towing and storage and reduced potential for damage. Available as an option for Allmand’s Night-Lite PRO Series light towers, the V Series configuration has an electric winch that allows the mast to be completely raised and lowered in 20 seconds. Also, the V Series mast and light fixture assembly stays within the footprint of the trailer when lowered.
Generator’s additional receptacles enables operator to use more tools
Provide power for a range of tools with Multiquip’s GA-Series generators, with eight models in the product line. The gasoline-powered units come with a choice of Honda GX-Series or Robin EX-Series industrial engines, and generate between 2.5 kW and 9.7 kW. A thick steel frame ensures durability, and additional twist receptacles enable the operator to use more tools on the job. All models come standard with a low oil shutdown and steel fuel tanks.
Make maintenance scheduling simple with hour meter
Subaru’s Robin diesel generators – the RGD3300H and RGD5000H – feature a 6.8-horsepower Hatz 1B30 engine with a rated output of 3,000 watts and a 9.9-horsepower Hatz 1B40 with a rated output of 5,000 watts, respectively. Both models have electric starters with recoil backup and a spark arrestor that minimizes noise and lowers ignition risk. An hour meter enables the operator to schedule maintenance at recommended intervals, and the low oil shutdown system prevents engine damage should levels drop.
Mobile generator has switchable power and voltage
Winco’s trailer-mounted RP80 Redi Power has switchable phase and voltage, a 65-kilowatt output and a 4.5-liter, turbocharged 1,800 rpm Iveco diesel engine. Additional features include a Basler DGC-2020 digital controller, a full receptacle package and an illuminated instrument panel in a 14-gauge sound-attenuated steel enclosure. The unit’s DOT approved trailer has a 7,000-pound capacity, electric brakes and front and rear jacks.
Portable unit provides stand-by or continuous power
Perform continuous or stand-by power applications with Yanmar’s YDG5500, the largest unit in the company’s YDG Series diesel generators. Measuring 28.3-by-18.9-by-22.8 inches, the 243-pound YDG5500 features a Model L100V6-GY engine that produces 5.5 kW, and produces 3,600 rpms. An open frame structure enables easy handling.
Adapt to different jobsites with articulating light tower
Tilt the lights on Terex’s AL8000 HT light tower 180 degrees vertically, front-to-back and 360 degrees side-to-side for flexible light positioning. The mast can also be hydraulically rotated 359 degrees to point the tower in any direction. The AL8000 HT comes standard with four 1,000-watt lights, a 13.6-horsepower Kubota engine that produces 10 kW of electrical power and a 30-gallon fuel tank, providing 30 hours of run time.
Combination unit has 360-degree rotation
Provide power and light with Magnum Products’ MLT 4250, a combination light tower and generator. The unit provides power ranging from single phase prime 15 kilowatts to three-phase prime 18 kilowatts, will produce 440,000 lumens of light – enough to illuminate 5 to 7 acres – and has a fuel capacity sufficient to run more than 24 hours. A four-point outrigger/jack support stance ensures maximum unit stability, and the tubular steel mast can extend up to 30 feet and has a 360-degree rotation with locking system. Four 1,000-watt oval lights also feature 360-degree rotation.
