JCB has introduced a new line of site dumpers the company is calling “the safest on the market.”

New models include the 6T-I, 9T-I and 7T-I Hi-Viz.

The range, with payload capacities between 13,000 and 20,000 pounds, features a standard ROPS/FOPS Level II frame. A JCB Sitesafe cab is an available option. JCB says it has increased the wheelbase on these new dumpers by widening the wheel track and lowering the bucket height. The result is a 16 percent reduction in the payload’s center of gravity while maintaining maneuverablity.

JCB says the changes deliver “industry-leading stability” and a “dramatic” reduction in the risk of overturning.

A front camera and reverse alarm come standard. The following are more safety-focused options available for these machines:

  • White noise alarm
  • Green LED beacon
  • High-visibility painted steps and grab handles
  • Rear view mirrors
  • 360-degree cameras
  • Object detection system
  • LED working lights

The new machines are each powered by JCB’s 74-horsepower EcoMAX engine that meets Tier 4 Final regulations and requires no diesel particulate filter (DPF) or diesel exhaust fluid (DEF). The dumpers ease of service is taken further by 360 degrees of engine access and ground-level service points.
