DeWalt launches new line of hammerdrills

DeWalt launched its new line of heavy-duty 1/2-inch corded hammerdrills, the DWD525K and the DWD520K. Both models use a 10-amp motor, a mode collar adjustment and increased power.

The new 10-amp motor uses approximately 40 percent more copper and provides up to 50 percent more power than previous models. The hammerdrills offer 0 – 1,200/0 – 3,500 rpm and 0 – 56,000 bpm. The drills feature a mode collar that allows smooth and easy transition between low and high speed drilling and hammerdrilling.

Each model is designed with a different grip, allowing users to choose the best grip for their drilling. The DWD525K model uses a mid-handle grip and the DWD520K model uses the traditional pistol grip. Both models are equipped with anti-slip soft-grip handles and 360-degree locking side handles for comfort and control.
