On a related subject, dehydration, I noticed that Gatorade has changed its formula. It now uses high-fructose corn syrup, same as any cheap soda drink. And until the change over it was the one sports drink that didn’t use corn syrup, which is why I liked it.
The people I talk to who work outdoors all day are consuming water and sports drinks in a three to one or four to one ratio. Granted this is Alabama with high humidity and temps over 90 degrees.
