Home Builders strike wait-and-see attitude

For the fifth consecutive month, the National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index showed a single-digit number. The HMI for March was 9, reflecting home builders reluctance to jump up and down just yet over all the goodies promised by the stimulus package. An HMI over 50 reflects a positive outlook.
