Mack launches used truck program

Mack has established a used truck program to help its dealers capitalize on the demand for quality pre-owned vehicles, the company announced Oct. 1. The Premium Used Trucks program will assist dealers in getting the stock they need – primarily through fleet trade-ins, Mack said in a press release. Approximately 90 days before fleet trucks are returned, descriptions and prices are posted on a website where dealers can view the information and make purchases electronically. Initially, each dealer will be allowed a proportionate number of vehicles. Dealers wanting more used trucks can then purchase vehicles not secured during the initial offering period.
