For high volume organic chipping projects, Vermeer’s BC2000XL brush chipper uses two 18-inch-diameter, spring-tensioned vertical feed rollers to automatically control the progress of the material into the cutting chamber. The 20- by 24-inch feed opening allows the unit to chip whole trees up to 20 inches in diameter. Engine options include three Caterpillar models with 200, 225 or 250 horsepower. An optional joystick-controlled loader/grapple lifts up to 3,000 pounds and can rotate the material 220 degrees around the machine.
