A new publication from the American Road and Transportation Builders Association could make contacting your state or federal transportation officials easier.
ARTBA recently released its 2004 Transportation Officials and Engineers Directory, which provides address, phone and fax information for more than 6,000 county, state and federal employees. For some officials, e-mail and Internet contact information is provided. The directory also includes listings for the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration and information on national transportation design and construction-related organizations and transportation leaders in Congress.
Available as a pocket-sized publication, as a CD-ROM or a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, the 2004 directory can be purchased online by clicking on the link to the right. Prices range from $195 to $475, depending on what type of directory is purchased and whether or not you are an ARTBA member.
