Welding and line boring a new hole after a pin and bushing have worn out a pivot lug is a costly, time consuming repair. The Expander System eliminates these costs by using pressure washers and expansion sleeves to lock the system in the pivot lugs. It can be fitted directly into a worn pivot or added to new machines. According to the company, retrofitting an Expander to a used machine is less expensive than the initial welding and line boring. The Expander has been field tested to more than 50,000 hours and sizes are available for more than 1,000 machine makes and models.
