After launching its S50 laser measuring tool one year ago, Mileseey has debuted an updated version focused on outdoor use.
The key upgrades for the new S50C include built-in, 8x zoom targeting camera; a high-visibility green laser; and a sunlight-readable AMOLED display. With these features, Mileseey says, users can measure faster and with more confidence on outdoor jobs.
The S50C measures from 0.16 to 656.2 feet within 0.04 inches of accuracy. Measurements can be made in a variety of units, including meters, feet, millimeters, centimeters and inches.
The S50C is also IP65-rated for dust and water resistance, offers 6.6-foot drop resistance and includes Bluetooth 5.1 and app integration. Users can store up to 1,000 measurements and images.
The S50C’s uses a 2,400mAh lithium-ion battery for up to 6 hours of continuous operation.
I received an S50C sample from Mileseey and found it was quick and accurate in testing. I was particularly impressed with the 2.4-inch, high-resolution touchscreen that was easy to read and use on sunny days. That same screen features automatic brightness adjusting and an anti-fingerprint coating to reduce smudging.
