PHOTOS: Ford unveils a real Tonka dump truck built from an F-750

Last year, right around this time at the NTEA Work Truck Show, Ford officially unveiled its latest work trucks, the 2016 F-650 and the F-750. And while there was no new body design to show off at this year’s show, Ford still managed to wow everybody in attendance with quite the unveiling: an honest to goodness Tonka truck.

The truck, the result of an official partnership with Tonka, is a custom Ford F-750 painted that signature Tonka yellow with a blackout nostril grille and a dump body from Truck Tech Engineers. In the gallery above you can see the toy truck Ford engineers used for inspiration.

Unfortunately, just like the amazing Tonka F-250 built by Galpin Auto Sports, Ford’s official Tonka truck won’t be going on sale. But you can see it in action in the video below.
