Considering the fact that a Ford F-Series pickup is sold every 38 seconds in the U.S., Ford has to churn them out pretty quickly. Recently, Bloomberg TV visited Ford’s Dearborn Truck Plant in Dearborn, Michigan to see how the automaker is able to meet that demand.

Each week about 7,000 F-Series trucks roll off the line. In total, 1,000 people and 299 robots take part in the assembly of every F-150 in a process that takes about 20 hours. The video below compiles it into 2 1/2 minutes.
