Aimed at truck customers with more particular tastes, Chevrolet has announced a second special edition model of the Colorado to join the Z71 Trail Boss we took a look at last week.

While the Trail Boss is meant for the off-roading crowd (or at least those who enjoy the look of a 4Γ—4 truck) the 2016 Colorado Midnight Edition goes for more of a street racing look.

With many of the same design choices as its Silverado sibling with the same name, the Colorado Midnight is offered only in black with monochrome grille, bowtie emblem and 18-inch wheels.

The truck also includes black spray-on bedliner and soft, folding tonneau cover along with Chevrolet-logo sill plates.

The Midnight package will be available this fall on Colorado LT models with the extended and crew cab bodies, in 2WD or 4WD and with the 2.5-liter and 3.6L gas engines and the 2.8L Duramax turbo-diesel. Pricing will come at a later date.
