Deere & Company has been ranked by Fortune magazine as the most admired company in the Industrial and Farm Equipment category. Fortune enlists the help of Hay Group, executives, directors and analysts to rate the 10 largest companies in their respective industries. The companies are judged on eight criteria, and Fortune says the 63 industry lists are “the definitive report card on corporate reputations.”
This ranking is the best achieved for Deere in the past six years by Fortune.
