A long-running heavy equipment auction business in California, The Auction Company, will soon join the global Euro Auctions network through a collaboration with fellow auction business Yoder & Frey.
The collaboration gives The Auction Company’s California customers improved access to national and international buyer networks. The company specializes in construction and heavy equipment, rental fleets, trucks, trailers, vehicles and government surplus assets.
The Auction Company was founded in 2003 by Claudia Knopp and Steve Gorin and operates auction facilities in Colton and Madera, as well as offices in Murrieta. Both Knopp and Gorin will remain involved in leading the company.
Yoder & Frey, based in Ohio, specializes in auctions covering industrial plant, construction equipment and agricultural machinery and has been in business since 1964. Yoder & Frey joined the Euro Auctions company in 2017 and operates several U.S. locations in Ohio, Florida and Georgia.
With The Auction Company under its belt, the Euro Auctions market now has six auction sites in the U.S., seven in Canada, five in Europe, one in the UAE and one in Australia.
