Kubota’s new BB30 Series box blades for skid steers, CTLs handle rough to precise grading
Kubota has launched a new series of grading box blades for its SSV skid steers and SVL compact track loaders through its Land Pride subsidiary.
The three models in the new series – the BB3072, BB3084 and BB3096 – can handle rough grading for landscaping and initial surface prep.

John Deere gives L-Series backhoes more powerful engine; 310SL also gets new hydraulics
Five years after launching its L-Series backhoes, John Deere continues to upgrade the models, with the latest advancement being a more powerful engine.
Deere’s 4.5L PowerTech EWL engine now comes on the 310L, 310SL, 315SL, 310SL HL and 410L.

Cat Unveils Redesigned 317, 317 GC Excavators That Lower Maintenance Costs by Up To 20%
Standard features on the new 17-ton-class Cat 317 and Cat 317 GC Next Gen excavators can boost operating efficiencies by up to 45% compared with previous models, says Cat, all while lowering maintenance costs by up to 20%.
Operating efficiencies are achieved through the standard Cat Grade Assist — which automates boom, stick and bucket movements — and Cat Grade with 2D, which automatically guides depth, slope and horizontal distance to grade.

Mecalac AS900tele loader takes aim at backhoes, wheel loaders, telehandlers
Functioning as a loader, telehandler or landscaping tool, the 8-ton Mecalac AS900tele telescopic swing loader — now available in North America — is designed to reduce the need for additional equipment.
With 22.2-gpm auxiliary hydraulics, the machine can use several attachments, including mowers, road sweepers and earth augers, and do work usually performed by backhoes, conventional wheel loaders and telehandlers, says the company.
