In busy market, Bejac Corp. opens Las Vegas location with heavy equipment and service

With a bright outlook on a quickening market, Bejac Corporation has opened their new location in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The branch opened this month at 3838 Octagon Road and features service bays, warehousing, a wash rack and a secure paved yard. Equipment is offered for sale or rent, plus an there’s an extensive parts inventory, and on-site or in shop service for maintenance and repairs.

Founded in 1953 in Placentia, California, the company provides new and used construction and heavy equipment for the construction, demolition, forestry, and recycling industries. Bejac says it has seen a strong year in construction activity. The new Las Vegas branch at 3838 Octagon Road will carry the complete lines of construction equipment from Liebherr, shredders, screens and separators from Komptech, grinders from Diamond Z, Genesis attachments, and rock drilling tools from Epiroc to meet demands in the construction, demolition, forestry, and recycling industries.

American Rental Association unveils new brand identity, new name for ‘Rental Show’

For the first time in more than 40 years, The American Rental Association (ARA) has a new brand identity.

The sharp, bold new image is designed to reflect the evolution of the equipment and event rental industry – including its emphasis on promoting members of younger generations to step into leadership roles.

Tony Conant, the CEO of ARA, says the update is necessary to modernize communications and further goals.

The logo update is part of an extensive branding initiative intended to carry the association forward in better serving its members and representing a community of equipment and event rental professionals.

Caterpillar names Redzic VP of Digital Enabled Solutions Division

Ogi Redzic has been named vice president of Caterpillar’s Digital Enabled Solutions Division (DESD).

DESD includes the company’s data analytics group, the enterprise data hub, equipment management tools, Cat Connect technologies and customer experience portals.

Caterpillar Vice President Julie Lagacy has led DESD on an interim basis; she will continue in her role as vice president of Global Information Services, the company says. The company has reorganized several key leadership positions since the announcement that Group President Rob Charter was retiring in June.

Nesco Speciality Rentals acquires N&L Line Equipment

Nesco Specialty Rentals, a leading equipment and service supplier to infrastructure, transmission, distribution, communications, and rail industries, has completed its acquisition of N&L Line Equipment.

N&L’s products are for live-line maintenance of electric utility lines. They will become part of Utility Equipment Outfitters, a division of Nesco Specialty Rentals.

The N&L offering includes transmission tools up to 800 kV, substation maintenance tools, as well as distribution hotline tools, Nesco says.

N&L has paired the manufacturing of tools to a testing laboratory and tool repair service.

ASV reaches agreement with Kennards Hire in Australia, New Zealand

ASV Holdings has reached an agreement with the largest independently owned industrial equipment rental “hire” specialist in Australia, Kennards Hire, which has more than 150 retail locations throughout Australia and New Zealand.

“We are pleased to announce that, after working with our Australian distribution partner, CEG Distributions, to successfully complete an extensive 18-month trial period, Kennards Hire, a pre-eminent name in the Australian equipment rental market, has approved ASV as a supplier of our RT-30 Posi-Track loaders,” says Justin Rupar,  vice president of sales and marketing for ASV.
