Welcome to the Dealer News Roundup, your one-stop shop for all the moves going on inside the heavy equipment distributor industry. This week’s edition includes a redesigned Terex website and app, along with new locations for Liebherr and JCB.

Terex launches distributor support app and responsive website

Terex Construction has launched a new Distributor Support app and the redesigned terex.com/construction website. The app is available for both Android and iOS and makes available all of the content and tools distributors need to support their customers.

Because the app stores content on the device itself, it can be used without a Wi-Fi or cellular connection.

“We took a good look at the tools available to our sales teams and saw a tremendous opportunity to utilize tablets for content management and delivery,” says Neal Nowick, General Manager at Terex Coventry. “We have taken all of the content these sales teams need and packaged it into one device that’s easy to carry and easy to use.”

Terex also redesigned its construction homepage with a responsive design that adapts the page to the user’s device whether it’s a computer, tablet or smartphone.

Headquartered in Corpus Christi, Nueces Power Equipment has been in business since 1989 and operates seven locations across South Texas.

Liebherr’s regional business manager, Robert Kilma, will work closely with all seven Nueces locations to help them introduce the Liebherr line to their customer base.

Yukon JCB joins JCB’s North American dealer network

Yukon JCB has joined JCB’s North American dealer network. The company will provide new and pre-owned JCB heavy equipment sales and rentals to the Yukon territory from its location in the capital city of Whitehorse.

Yukon JCB was founded in 1989 as Totaltrac Yukon, and in 2012, Rod Adams purchased the business and currently serves as its CEO. Over the years, the dealership has sold and serviced equipment from other major manufacturers, but will now place its emphasis on JCB’s full product line.
