Throughout the Intermat trade show in Paris last week, the first pieces of yellow iron attendees saw as they entered the earthmoving pavilion were a bit on the small side.

Situated just before the entrance of Hall 5 was a whole city of where remote-controlled scale model construction equipment were free to move and haul to their hearts’ content.
