Case Construction Equipment continued the rollout of its D Series mini excavators at ConExpo 2026 with three new 3-ton-class models: the CX30D, CX34D and CX38D.
The 24.4-horsepower compact excavators provide zero tailswing, an automotive-style cab and attachment versatility.
Additional models in Case’s D Series lineup include the CX12D, CX19D, CX42D, CX50D and CX60D.
The zero-tailswing design allows operators to work close to walls, foundations, structures or hazards. Case says it also gave the excavators a “well-balanced undercarriage” for stability and steady operation. An optional six-way dozer blade is available for the CX38D for grading and backfilling.
An automotive-style cab features ergonomic pilot controls, an adjustable suspension seat and all-around visibility to the jobsite.

Each new model is equipped with different standard features to meet varying operational demands, Case says.
- The CX30D and CX38D include a lighting package, as well as a long arm with thumb bracket.
- The CX38D offers auxiliary hydraulic flow control and electronic throttle control with auto idle for smoother, more efficient operation.
Case Construction Equipment
Operators can easily swap attachments with multifunction one- and two-way hydraulics and a second two-way auxiliary hydraulic circuit. An optional third hydraulic circuit and a constant-flow circuit enable the use of heavy-duty attachments, like mulchers.
Optional equipment includes an anti-theft system, attachment quick couplers, an additional bolt-on counterweight, automatic centralized lubrication, rearview mirrors.
Case CE offers a 2-year/3,000-hour full machine limited warranty. MyCaseConstruction Telematics hardware comes standard and includes a 7-year data subscription.
